Remember the good old days when on a Saturday afternoon we'd tune the TV in to thrill as our heroes battled with and vanquished their enemies despite the odds? Well, over the years it just lost it's edge didn't it? Our heroes were replaced with shallow prima donnas and it all became a comical shadow...

Primarily, they're pitching it at today's seven to fourteen year olds and I think they've got the level just about right for that demographic. There's plenty of action and special effects that stand comparison to anything else UK terrestrial TV has managed. It'll probably appeal to the Harry Potter ...

Not much to be cynical about this time, IMHO. Shock and horror, the BBC may have actually done something right and just as their licence fee was up for renewal too ...... whoops, there I go again :roll:

Adam is right in all respects IMHO. Too much attention is paid to what fans say they want when the truth is fans aren't particularly well placed to make that judgement. Programme makers should just concentrate on making a good product and if they succeed in that then the fans will follow. Mind you, ...
