New Year - Old Photo!

Post by Adam J Purcell » Mon Jan 03, 2005 7:04 pm

I came across some old photos today as I was doing my decennary rubbish clearing (mainly removing an awful lot of ancient VHS magnetic cassettes).

Here's one photo that I think dates back some eight or nine years or so. Three of the Staggering Stories Team (Keith, Adam and Tony) before we met Andy (he, apparently, liked sitting on top of cannons a lot in these days...)

The two vertically challenged ones, Jamie and Andrew, are now as tall as the rest of us!

You're not fooling us with the one on the right... I'd recognise Peter Davison anywhere!

Has anyone else noticed that Adam is spookily unchanged, that Keith had yet to develop the tragic hair allergy that has since inflicted him from the neck up and that Tony is...that Tony is... well Tony is...Tony..?

Then again, perhaps not.

Hmm.....

It occurs to me that I'm subconciously trying to look like each doctor..

years ago I was in a play, The Rivals, and had to have my hair permed. I wea mistaken for colin baker.
According to "havoc" I look like davison in that pic.
I currently look like tom baker (without the hair bit) and have the teeth of hartnel.
Hmm..

I get the feeling that this year Ill end up like a current day Pertwee.....

Well, you've been beating the odds where you live at the Killing Fields - this year has got to be the one where the unnaturally high mortality rate catches up with you! (And I used to think it hard to believe that places such as Inspector Morse's Oxford and Buffy's Sunnydale could really have such high death rates!)

As for me in that picture, well I'm not completely unchanged - I've certainly put a few pounds since then (and I don't mean financially!) but I'm still probably the most instantly recognisable of the group... It's all downhill from here though!

If it's not too nosey, how did you people meet?

I only ask because you say you didn't know Andy when the picture was taken but the other three of you are friends.

lol ok it is nosey but I've been looking at these web pages for a few weeks now and you all seem an ok group of people. Just wondered.
