Glad to hear you've gotten over it. Remember - we're all trained psychoanalysts here - tell us your problems and we'll tell you about your sexual issues and how you want to sleep with your mother... You'll feel a lot better for it!

Got another 'one of those days' coming up in a couple of weeks or so... Any idea what you would like for your upcoming birthday?

I can hardly believe you're coming up to yet another birthday - they are really totting up now!!

Well thank you soooo much. Fell asleep on the train and woke up screaming after a disturbingly graphic dream about me, my mother and a large tub of mayonaise...

I'm getting too old for such shocks.

There are far too many long-suppressed memories coming out here...

...my mum is a nice lady who makes a cracking shepherds pie. I refuse to sully her name with any further lewd comments.

(She was also a dead-eye shot with a wooden spoon and I had many a 'you-won't-sit-down-for-a-week' moments to prove it. She is still sprightly for one of such advanced years and I don't wish to test her aim!)

The sprout is God's own vegetable, MacFadyan, I will not stand having it maligned by a man who drinks cider with blackcurrant squash
