Not sure what the Brigadier would have made of it all but at least she'd probably have had a lot of cheap gold jewellery to hand when the Cybermen invaded .... or have I accidentally given away the finale to "Rise Of The Cybermen" there?

Yes, but I think Jackie is going to be more of a cubic zirconia kind of a girl don't you? That said, if the new look Cybermen have an unfortunate vunerability to anything sold in bulk on QUC or Screenshop perhaps the world has a chance...?
