Did they put something in the water in the 60s that mde everyone colour blind? Or is it as I have always suspected, that not only was TV black and white before then but so was the world?

Not a lot of people know this but in the early seventies there was a national shortage of textiles so clothes were actually made out of wallpaper until 1976.
