Focus has really gone downhill since the BBC bought it out, it's become just another promotional magazine for the station. Even so, having already read the latest issue before seeing this I was surprised at how heavily they were plugging the book, which on the basis of the article, looks to be a right load of old fanboy tat and best avoided.

Yeah, saw that. Said to Keith at the time that he was breaching editorial conduct. What a plonker! He'll lose his job over this. Not that it'll hit too hard, what with the book 'n all. Silly boy

He probably thought he'd get away with it considering how shamelessly they plug other BBC programmes these days. Love the bit where they try to weasel out of it by saying it was 'peer reviewed' in the magazine, implying that the act of devoting yet another half-page to it somehow makes it all OK ...... doh !!!!!
