I thought it was excellent too.

EXCEPT for the fupping BULLET TIME KUNG-FU !!!!! For heavens sake, give it up !! Everyone does it these days, it's not remotely clever any more. It wasn't even proper bullet time Kung Fu, just a bit of slow-mo with the bullet time sound effects.

I hate bullet time kung fu. Had you noticed?

... and I was trying so hard not to let my hatred show through

I didn't catch Confidential but I'm told they mentioned that none of the actors who played the monks had any martial arts training so they had to do it all with camera trickery. Funnily enough, while I was watching it I thought "none of them have had any martial arts training, that's all camera trickery".

Apart from that I loved the episode, honest !!

I'm thinking of going to see "An Evening With Richard Dawkins" which is on tour at the moment. Question is, what do I take to get signed? My copy of The Blind Watchmaker or my copy of City Of Death?

"Yeah, not a bad talk, Rich, Errr, is the missus around by any chance?"
