Probably too late already but it wouldn't be out of the question. Drive to Cardiff? It's been done before. I can't remember how long it took (Mr. Le Vesconte drove us on at least one occasion, are you still around?!)
Google maps has it as 181 miles from my door to Cardiff, about 3hrs 50 mins. Being Wales, you'd have to take your inflatable Dalek, though.

Shame we couldn't get tickets as that was an excellent concert! Thanks to the wonders of FreeSat I was able to listen to Radio Wales in the comfort of my new TV Room on my surround sound speakers, lights off. Not quite as good as being there but not far off!

No, it didn't even occur to me at the time the concert started (actually about an hour before - I started it early as I was going out and missed the very beginning live). It was just easier to stream it directly into a wav with a bit of mplayer magic (from the command line and not routed out of a sound card).
I've yet to sit down and listen to how it came out, as it just streamed directly out to a file any gaps while it resycned shouldn't show up (there would be no data to stream at that stage), this
should be better than recording a 'what you hear' stream as appearing realtime at a soundcard, as that wouldn't stop during gaps. This doesn't mean the bitrate would have been any better, though... Time will tell.
If it's not too good I might give it a go from the Listen Again. I can schedule the computer to grab a new stream in the early hours of the morning - this machine is my Linux server and is on 24x7, after all.

There's a 256kbps version of it in alt.binaries.drwho if required.
