Book suppository? Isn't that for the storage of books? How about a library?

I should note that I didn't do the previous post - that was Tony using one of my machines, failing to log me out and log in as himself!

Bookshops in the UK used to offer rentals but the proliferation of public libraries made it rather pointless. Gordon Comstock, the hero of Orwell's "Keep The Aspidistra Flying" works in a small bookshop that offers such services.
