Jealous...

Post by Hobbit »

Was watching Excalibur the other night with the eldest son.
The rousing O Fotuna piece came on and he commented on how brilliant it was and I realised he is of a generation that can appreciate it without thinking "oh, that's the Old Spice music" I am very jealous

hey...don't knock it - the fact that a 15 year old actually said that in this day and age is a source of happiness. Anyway...the old spice thing was ruined for me after the carling black label ad....

I note that you appear to have more spare time....we shall inform you of how you will be spending it, chained to the pc keyboard, shortly....we're down to our last Xena story!!!

:P

I'm afraid, being that little bit more youthful than either of you, I'll always associate it with the Carling Black Label ads - not sure I even remember the Old Spice it was lampooning.

Speaking of originals, on the plus side I am ancient enough to remember the original Rowan Atkinson Barclaycard ads - far superior to the Johnny English film they spawned.
