Caption Competition June 2004

Post by Adam J Purcell »

Oh, no! It's 4/5 of the Staggering Stories Team coming back from seeing Alyson Hannigan's climactic stage play!

From the left we have: Adam, Keith, Andy and Tony. But what is the caption?

After drawing the short straw, Andy realised he wasn't going to swap seats for the the whole journey. Tony realised this too and couldn't conceal his delight.

After studying the picture of the comparative sizes of potato fries,Sigmund Freud realised he could write an entire thesis on what he had seen...

Tony tries to smile as he is instantly and invisibly filleted....

A scene from Enid Blytons new childrens novel:"Five go mad with french fries in a railway carriage somewhere between London Victoria and Crawley"...

Reluctantly, Tony had to admit his chip was on his shoulder.

As one, the group realised they had misunderstood when the police had stormed the train and yelled 'FREEZE!'...

After many success insertions, Keith's one time failure to get a french fry up his nostril was caught on camera.

And introducing 'Thing' - the new member of the team (far left). (And you thought it was Adam's... )
Staggering Stories - I don't like it but I know why!

The dinner parties at MacFadyan's were always a bit disapointing.

Keith: Look Tony - our amazing weather detection devices show that the wind has changed! You can finally get your face out of that expression you've been stuck in since the beginning of the 90's...

Andy: No, look - too late. You're stuck like that again, Tony.

Adam: Well, at least we can win that Doctor Who monster competition again!
