Whooverville 2009

Post by Adam J Purcell » Fri Sep 04, 2009 5:16 pm

As we've much mentioned on the Podcast, we are due to attend (and, indeed, appear at) the Whooverville convention this Sunday (that being the 6th of September 2009).

Come and see Fake Keith and myself up on stage with a number of other podcasting luminaries (!) for the podcasting panel. Also you can meet Jean and (one of) the Real Keiths! Four for the price of one. Sadly Crumbly cannot be with us, though. The Head of Pertwee may even make a surprise appearance! Just come and say hi - we don't bite (not in that sense, anyway).

We'll be staying at the nearby Premier Inn, in Ripley, on the Saturday night, along with (at least) Tony and Jo! (I claim my £5 for plugging The Flashing Blade!) and Paul Wilson (ex of the Whocast). Expect to find us in or around the bar on the Saturday evening!

I thought Jo! was entirely illusory and a figment of a certain podcaster's diseased imagination? The audio equivalent of a ventriliquist act. We demand photographic evidence!

Here's a one minute segment of the Podcast Panel at Whooverville - mainly centred on me explaining how the Staggering Stories podcast came to be. (This is the first (and currently only) segment published on YouTube - it's not because it's me that I post it here, honest!)
