With just hours to go I though I'd start this poll and ask the question?

Obviously I've seen it now. Not too bad, a little short and nothing too spectacular, though was quite amusing.

I do wonder how it is going to join up with Christmas Invasion. I was rather expecting it to move nothing along at all, effectively ending exactly where it started so the Christmas Invasion can continue from Parting of the Ways as if it never happened. Perhaps it does - he only sets coordinates for Barcelona in the Children in Need special and then changes it (back?) to London. That whole Barcelona bit in Parting of the Ways could suddenly become redundant if he immediately collapses in the Christmas Invasion. Rose then wouldn't be surprised to be back in London (do they ever go anywhere else?!) Maybe it does work.

Regeneration trauma is fun (to watch!) but I hope this Doctor settles down quickly after that. Crazy acting will get old very fast. I'm sure that will happen, though. I look forward to see what Tennant really does with the character. He's got to be the first 'real' fan to take on the role, I hope that will work in his favour.

---

Quick Edit/Addition - I've just rewatched it.

I liked the idea of Rose questioning if he really was the Doctor. I don't think this has ever happened before (at least not from someone watching the regeneration). Why hasn't it?! Wonderful idea. If it weren't for this special I doubt we would have seen it this time, either. It looks like Rose has accepted him by the end of this scene so I doubt we'll have any of this in the Christmas Invasion.

Also fun to hear the cloister bell again. Good to see a bit of continuity, especially as it doesn't give the casual viewer any problems.

Looking forward to the Christmas Invasion, but even more so to the next season proper.

Shut up and get better....because if you miss Christmas I will make you suffer for all eternity. I will pursue you to the depths of hell and the peak of the highest mountains. I will tackle the wildest of beasts and brave the most desperate wilderness. I will find you...and you WILL SUFFER for missing out on roast boar, cheese, Christmas pud, cheese, mulled wine, cheese, pressies and cheese.

I love you, lordsummersisle, and if you weren't my best mate's pet squeeze, I would want to have your babies.

Instead, I will have to settle for providing the crackers.
