Just watched tonights Dr Who, nice to see Paul's name in 'light's' but did he swallow a sentimentality pill before writting this one.

And how does a computer graphic artis make a CG monster look like a rubber suite?

I thought it was quite well done with the exception of the CGI that looked like men in rubber suits. There's probably a 'rubberise' filter in the CGI software specially included for use on Doctor Who.

But I agree, it was far too emotionally manipulative for me. Wonderful for anyone who likes a good blub and hasn't seen a time paradox story before or read any HP Lovecraft - but from the moment the rubber monsters appeared it was too obvious where it was all going.

So far the series has been of pretty even quality. Nothing as bad as "Warriors Of The Deep" yet but then again, nothing as wonderful as "Caves Of Androzani" either.
