I saw this on a free preview about a month ago. Pretty decent stuff, fairly restrained on the implausible girlie king-fu and some laugh out loud moments. Quite impressed me for a freebie, the last one I went to starred Queen Latifah

Fantastic 'Big Damn Movie'! Seen it three nights running now, today will probably be the first day I won't see it since it arrived in town.

Funny, shocking and relentless! I don't want to put any spoilers up just yet but after three viewings I'm only just coming to terms with the implications of it all!

We've proved that you don't need to know the series to enjoy it - though the shock factor will likely be less but still very good fun.

And what great dialogue!

It's darker than the original Firefly series, in both senses - more dramatic and cinematic but still true to the original.

I'm intending to do a proper 'review' in the next update.

In the meantime GO SEE THIS FILM! You won't regret it. See it at least twice, in fact, to both catch everything and help ticket sales! Get as many friends along to it that you can. This deserves to be a film series (though hard to see how they could make more......!)
