Did anyone else watch 'Life on Mars', from the pen of Matthew Graham, Spooks, This Life, the Last Train and newly announced Doctor Who writer. What's with the big 'C' on their chests?! Is this from the Superman design school of costumes?!

I think it might be plot related, based on a set report I read on OG- but I'm relativley spoiler-free and am only guessing.
