It's 1973 - or is it? Here's DCI Gene Hunt, his Ford Cortina and DI Sam Tyler but what is the caption?

Hunt and Tyler could only look on despondently as they find out that flared trousers would still be fashionable on 30 years time....

As always, they were always first in line when a new hip album was released at their local groovy record store....

Hunt: You really think you can make it?

Tyler: It's a long distance to jump but I think I can do it with the help of this collar...

The British remake of Quantum Leap was a lightly less polished affair.

Sam Tyler: There's my cousin, Rose, travelling to interesting times like the second world war and the end of the world, and I get stuck in 1973...

Gene Hunt: You think you got it bad - I've got no chance of getting out of here and I'm stuck with a sanctimonious pratt as my DI. Where's that drink?

Hunt: Well Sam, my son, you think you've got it bad. I heard of some bloke called Macfadyan, who only just survived some kind of lynching. He got stuck in the 1980's...
